What is stored
- Your Google identity. When you sign in with Google, the app receives your email address, display name and profile picture. The email is what tells your budget apart from anyone else’s. Nothing else is read from your Google account.
- Your budget. Everything you type in: salary, bills, savings targets, accounts, spending, transfers and settings.
- Bank data, only if you connect a bank. Connections go through Enable Banking Oy, a licensed account-information provider, with your explicit consent given at your bank. The app then receives account identifiers, balances and transactions in read-only form and keeps them to build your budget. It cannot move money. You can revoke a consent at any time in the app or at your bank.
- Technical logs. Cloudflare, which hosts the app, records requests for security and reliability, as any web host does.
What it is used for
Solely to show you your own budget. There is no advertising, no analytics, no profiling, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone. The only third parties involved are the ones needed to run the app: Google for sign-in, Enable Banking for bank connections you choose to make, and Cloudflare for hosting.
Where it lives
Data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database located in Western Europe and served from Cloudflare’s network. It is protected by the sign-in wall: every request has to carry a valid session for your account.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. A second, short-lived cookie exists only during the few seconds of a Google sign-in. Your theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage. There are no tracking cookies.
How long, and how to delete
Your data stays as long as your account does. Inside the app, Settings → Export backup gives you everything as a file, and Settings → Reset everything deletes it. Bank consents can be revoked from the Accounts screen. To have the account itself and any remaining data removed, write to the address below.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive a copy, or object to its processing. Requests go to tommasogiul03@gmail.com and are answered by the developer personally.
Changes
This page is updated whenever the app starts doing something new with your data. The date at the top says when.
